Skoda has launched new sedan car, Skoda Rapid in India. Skoda Rapid is available in both petrol and diesel engines . There are be 6 variants available, in which 5 are petrol and 3 are diesel models.

Skoda Rapid  is power by 1.6 litre petrol and 1.6 litre TDI diesel engines. Comes  with the option of manual and automatic transmissions.

Skoda Rapid’s 1.6 liter petrol engine produces power of 105 Bhp @ 5250 rpm which is same for diesel engine. While the torque produced by petrol engine is 153 Nm @ 3800 rpm Turbocharged diesel engine produces torque of 250 Nm @ 1500-2500 rpm.
